Rooibos Tea in Taiwan

(Advert for Rooibos Latte)

The other day I (Paul) went to my local Starbucks and saw a big advert for Rooibos Tea, a South African Herbal Tea. Imagine that, South Africa importing tea to Taiwan! Who would have believed it for all the tea in China! (Yeah I know it sounds corny).

I guess the South African global diaspora and particular diaspora to Taiwan has created new markets for South African products. I am certainly looking forward to biltong and boerewors appearing in the 7-11 soon, but I won't hold my breath waiting. Not for all the tea in China!
