Saturday Morning Donuts

Mister Donut Front Entrance (From Restaurants)

One of the biggest temptations at my new office is the Mister Donut on the corner of Fuhsing North Road and Minchuan East Road. Ever since I started eating their donuts (which was after I started working at Purple Labs) I have been tempted to walk into the store everyday to buy a morning donut. Fortunately I am able to resist most mornings.

A few weekends ago Queenie and I decided to take Rochelle out for the day. We started her off at Mister Donut. I have previously taken donuts home before and both Rochelle and Queenie loved them. And since it is not too much of a stretch to get to Mister Donut (at the end of the Mucha Line), we thought we would give it a try.

Well of course they have a great collection of donuts.

We chose the donuts shown below:

Queenie and Rochelle seemed to enjoy their donuts.

And Rochelle had a great time:

Queenie seemed to have a good time too!

And I did too:

While we were at Mister Donut, this family with a strange kid came to sit next to us. The kid was strange because he kept asking me what I was doing. I thought it was especially strange when he stood up and tapped me on my shoulder to ask me what I was doing. He might have been strange, but he was a friendly chap and we enjoyed chatting with him.

All in all Mister Donut is a great place to take a child (as a treat). Children can be noisy in the restaurant, and they definitely like the food on offer. They have a decent selection of donuts and the donuts are not too bad. Mister Donut is also easy to get to (at least the one we went to) and there are a few other branches in Taipei (but don't ask me where).
