We found this super little restaurant in the subway station near Tennoji park. They served the awesome Japanese style omelets and other fried up goodies. It was delicious! Added to that the waitresses and the other guests were really friendly too.
As you can see the food looked delicious. The restaurant had a small hot plate on which the food was placed to keep it warm. In the beginning we thought we would have to cook it ourselves but that was an un-grounded fear. The food was delicious. The video below gives a good view of the restaurant, the food and the friendly people that were around us at the time.
As you saw in the video, the restaurant was small and quaint and the people were super friendly. The food I assure was delicious. Of course you saw the beer on the side of the table: how else can one enjoy that food? Some more pictures of Miki and the other waitress are below.
We have since found a great restaurant in Taipei (on Yongkang Street) that serves very similar food to what we ate there so whenever we feel like we need a little bit of Osaka in our lives, we drop by.
food looks great. been to Kansai and Kyoto but not Osaka itself. this is my only Japanese omlet experience in Japan: http://www.flickr.com/photos/thenhbushman/256131516/ not quite the same!ReplyDelete
Hey MJ - you are right - not the same ha ha - still looks delicious - we spent a day in Kyoto only - visiting the usual sites and then spent a day going up to Himmoji castle and stopped off in Kobe to see a friend.Delete
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment as always (especially with the sore thumb).
